What a difference a few days make

Here is the back deck Wednesday:

High winds and a total of about 4-1/2" of snow.

And today?

It is bright, sunny and a forecast high of 55 F.  Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer.

A few days also makes a difference in stitching.  The snow and cold of Wednesday seems to have chased the frogs away and I as able to finish Just Nan's Christmas Elegance.

I finally have a photo that accurately shows both the fabric and fiber colors, and Blogger doesn't want to orient it correctly.

Elegant Doily is on the frame for this weekend. Lots and lots of Algerian eyelets are in my future.

Very nice finish!
Beautiful day here too. I went out for a walk for the first time since last Fall. The pear trees are starting to swell already.
Spring's almost here!

That's exactly what was happening here during the last week - from 6" to snowless meadows today, I even found the first primrose in our garden yesterday.
Great finish!

Congrats on the Happy Dance. I have just bought the chart as part of a bundle of four. Looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Love the contrasting photos. I walked the length of our road yesterday (just under a mile) and the weather was completely different by the time I got to the end of it! Grey overcast skies to bright blue sunshine.
