Wonderful Gift

Catherine of Bramblewood Stitches contacted me a while back after seeing my progress on Mirabilia's Santa's Magic asking if I would be interested in Mirabilia's Winter White Santa as she was not going to stitch it.  Oh my, what an amazing offer!!  It arrived in the mail yesterday and I am so excited and ready to start stitching him unfortunately, he will have to wait until I finish "Santa's Magic".

I have already pawed searched through my fabric stash and picked out Country Stitches' opalescent Dusty Night.  Here is a photo of the pattern on the fabric:

A floss toss will be needed, but I think this will work really well. Yes, you will have to listen to me complain about stitching on opalescent fabric again, but I really do think the effect will add to the finished piece and more sparkle on a Christmas piece is a good thing!

Thank you again, Catherine!  Stitchers really are the best.

What a lovely generous thing to do. It's not a design I know well so I will look forward to seeing you stitch it up.

Hope the opal behaves itself too!

Love that fabric choice!! Stitchers ARE the best!! Can't wait to see your progress! I'm a huge fan of Miribilia designs - I've done 2 and have a few in my pile waiting to be stitched, including Santa's Magic!

What a thoughtful thing to do. The fabric you've chosen goes so well with it.
